Pastor Nathan Deatrick is the son of a Baptist pastor. He accepted Christ as his Savior in 1980 during a revival meeting in Illinois and surrendered to God’s call to the gospel ministry in 1992. After Bible College he served as assistant pastor with his Dad in northeast Missouri. In 2003 he moved back to North Carolina to join the staff of Maranatha Baptist Church in Shelby, NC, where Frank Camp, originally of Polk County, is the Pastor. God has given Pastor Nathan a wonderful wife, Jenny, and four precious children, Emalyn, Audrey, Judson and Elaina. Together they love to serve God and His people, and they are excited to have part in what God has in store for the Crossroads Baptist Church. Pastor Nathan’s desire is to make Christ preeminent through dynamic Bible preaching and faithful, genuine, compassionate pastoral leadership.
